Proverbs 4:7 – Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. (src)

For this Monday, the 27th of January, I offer 3 P’s of reflection from this word from God:

1. Purpose: Let us not simply exist or do our business as usual but be driven with a sense of purpose and zeal.
2. Priority: As we pursue life with a spirit of excellence and zeal, let us ensure that God, his wisdom, his kingdom and his word have the appropriate priority in our lives.  It must be first and it must be above all else. 
3. Prayer: Let us resolve to spend time in prayer. On our own, our efforts have proven to be futile and frustrating. With prayer, we know God’s heart, operate in his will, and his supernatural power gives us victory to accomplish his purposes.
