Faith and not fear
This Psalm was such a reminder that we should have faith and not fear.
Psalms 46:1-7
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore, will not we fear, though the earth be removed,
and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled,
though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God,
the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:
God shall help her, and that right early.
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
I just wanted to share this as it reminded me to have faith in God and not fear
Even in the face of the very thing that creates fear.
Even when we see the most fearful thing,
We, as his children who know who he is, must not fear.
The first instinct may bring fear, but in that moment we must remind ourselves of
Who He is and that he is more than capable
We need to dispel all fear and listen to him.
What do you get from it?

Thank you Vani for the reminder.
Fear has torment, but Faith produces hope then Joy and gladness.
I will have faith rather than be afraid.
Short and sweet, this one. Thanks Vani.
