Loving You
Luke tells us to Love the Lord with all our heart, soul, strength and mind, (Luke 10:27)
but what does it mean to love the Lord?
Lord, what does it mean to love you?
Does saying it mean that I love you?
Or is it so much more than that?
To love someone is to care about them and to care about the things that they care for.
To love someone is to spend time with them
To love someone is to serve them
To love someone is to listen to them
To love someone is to compromise oneself for them
To love someone is to suffer for them
Now the question is do I do these things for God?
Am I willing to do these things for Him?
Do I really love Him?
John tells us that we love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19). So we learn to love him from how he loves us. He has sacrificed his son for us. He has sacrificed much for his love for us. Do we love him like that? Are we willing to sacrifice?

Greater love has no man than this: that He laid down His life for His friends. Thanks to God for loving us so much and for giving us the example of how we ought to love.
Blessings Vani!

Short and sweet and to the point. Thought provoking.
Keep it up.
