Trusting in Him no matter what
He is a Mystery
Ecclesiastes 11:5
As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.
Psalm 145:3
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable.
Romans 11:33-36
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
“For who has known the mind of the Lord,
or who has been his counselor?”
“Or who has given a gift to him
that he might be repaid?”
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
(Job 42:1-6, Psalm 139:6, 1 Corinthians 2:10-11)
We do not know the works of God. Unsearchable are his ways. God reveals much to us, and he has given us a treasure trove of his knowledge in the Bible. The knowledge that He wants us to know is in the Bible, and he has even given us the Holy Spirit, who reveals scripture to us. As time goes by, he reveals things to us, which is part of his perfect plan.
But the truth of it is that we cannot understand our God to the fullest extent of who he is. We cannot always understand why He allows us to suffer and go through hardships and pain. We cannot understand why innocent children are allowed to suffer and die. We cannot understand why God allows his people to be persecuted. We cannot understand why God allows selfish people to take advantage of the innocent.
He is Good and Just
Exodus 34:6-7
The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands,[a] forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”
(1 Chronicles 16:34, Ezra 3:11, Psalm 25:8, Psalm 145:9, James 1:17)
But we know that God is good; he will not be unjust to us. We know that he is love and that he loves us. And so, when we know this, shouldn’t we trust him even when we do not understand? We should trust him because we know his way is perfect. He has a plan and wants good for us.
So especially in the heat of things, when things don’t go our way, this is a reminder to me (and maybe you) to trust him through the thick and thin, trust him even when we do not understand. Let us trust him like the baby trusts her daddy, as she jumps fearlessly into his arms.

The song writer says ‘simply trusting everyday, trusting through a stormy way, even when my faith is small; trusting Jesus that is all’ Thank you Vani for that reminder.
Thanks
