Jeremiah 10:6

There is none like You, O Lord;
You are great, and great is Your name in might.

Why do we expect so little of God when he is the creator of everything? We believe and prescribe to what we can see and touch more than the eternal, all-powerful, omnipotent God. That makes no sense. When we have come to know God and accept his gift of salvation, we should understand that he is God, the only one God who is the creator of all.

Ephesians 3:20

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

He is the one who created every human. He created the greatest minds that ever walked the earth. If you think that man has accomplished so much, then you should know that God is much greater. 

Isaiah 40:26

Lift up your eyes on high
And see who has created these stars,
The One who leads forth their host by number,
He calls them all by name;
Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power,
Not one of them is missing.

How do we have trouble having faith in this God, yet we have faith in humans who have invented the aeroplane, modern medicine, technology, AI, the light bulb, and so much more? But God has given them the ability to do these things.

All that we see and experience in this world that is remarkable is because of God.

So how can we have more faith in humans than in God?

He is all-powerful.

There is nothing that he cannot do.

He is Lord of all

And yet still:

He loves us

He wants us

He wants good for us

He wants to bless us

He wants us to be good and experience good

Ephesians 2:4

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

And knowing all this, we must believe he will always come through for us.

He is going to work it out for good. No matter how hard it seems to me and you, he is able to work it out. And no matter what he allows us to suffer, he still loves us and will be there for us.

Jeremiah 32:17

‘Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,

So believe in Him.

Believe that he is who he says he is

Believe that he is in control

And no matter what we face here, he is with us and will pull us through.
