The Word is Your Encouragement
Many times in life, things don’t go the way we plan or hope. But it is in these times that we need God the most. We need his word because it’s precisely in these times that all of what we know about God goes out the door, and the unbelief kicks in. But that is when we need to believe our God and his promises. So today, I leave you with some encouraging verses that may be just what you need to hide in your heart for a time of need.
1 Peter 5:7
7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
2 Timothy 1:7
for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Job 1:21
And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
