Believe Him when it’s the Hardest Thing to do
When life gets rough, and things don’t go the way we hope, we can feel defeated. But it’s exactly in these times when it feels the most impossible and hopeless that we must press forward and believe in the hope that God provides. We need to have that hope for what we cannot see. We need to believe Him for the impossible when it seems most unlikely, and that’s faith.
Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
This verse speaks about God working all things together for good for those who are called for his purpose. We need to remember this when it feels the worst. He knows our hurt and pain, and he sees us. He is our comfort and healing, but he is also working that thing out for good, even if we can’t see the good now.
It is when we are tested and upheaved that we need to show God that we have faith and trust him. Trust him through the hurt, the pain, and the tears, knowing that he knows and allows it. Trust Him that he is working it out for the good. Trust Him because it makes us stronger in the end. Trust Him like Job did.
Just a little bit of my heart and prayer in a time of sorrow and hope 🙂
I feel downtrodden
I don’t understand
I can’t see why
Logically, there is little hope
It’s sad and gone
But I have hope in you My Lord,
Against all odds and all the feelings
I choose to trust in you My Lord
I know you are right here with me.
Seeing my every tear and hurt.
I know you are my comfort and healing and
you will come through for me.
And through it all, you make me smile
I smile because I have hope in you
A hope, I know, will not be disappointed.
I love you My Lord.

Amen!
I too felt your loss. But I also know that God works all things for the good of those who love Him. Who are called according to His purpose: so we trust His heart when we don’t understand.
This reminds me of the Psalmist, expressing grief and hope in the same breath. Well done. Father will complete it.
